Associate Attorney
Martson Law Offices is looking for an associate attorney for its Carlisle, Pennsylvania office. A candidate with general practice experience in a private practice setting is preferred, though such experience is not required.
Responsibilities of the position include:
- performing legal research
- drafting legal documents and appeals
- interviewing clients, witnesses, and experts and completing depositions
- appearing in court to handle hearings (MDJ, CCP, Federal, and Appellate Argument) throughout South Central PA
- handling transactional negotiations, participating in mediations
- actively participating in the representation of firm clients across the firm’s practice areas, including Wills, Trusts & Estates, Real Estate, Family law, and/or Civil Litigation.
Compensation will depend upon experience. The primary work location for this position is in-person at our office in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate is an ambitious and versatile attorney licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania looking to contribute to a growing legal team.
