LANCASTER, Pa. (May 6, 2025) – Regional accounting and advisory firm Trout CPA is proud to announce that
Dan Chodan, CPA, Partner, and
Travis Oot, CPA, Senior Manager, have been selected by the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) as
2025 Young Leader Award recipients. Each year, this distinguished honor is awarded to PICPA members under the age of 40 who demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to the accounting profession through active PICPA participation or community service.
The Young Leader Awards spotlight individuals who not only excel professionally but also give back to the accounting community and beyond. The PICPA selects recipients from a pool of nominated candidates who exemplify leadership, service, and dedication. Dan and Travis’s inclusion in this group reflects their outstanding achievements, leadership within Trout CPA, and commitment to making a lasting impact in their field.
“At Trout CPA, we invest in leaders who inspire progress and drive meaningful change,” says
Todd Harrington, CPA, CVA, CGMA, Managing Partner. “Dan and Travis’s recognition by the PICPA confirms what we already know — that they are shaping a bright future for our firm, our clients, and the accounting community.”
Dan Chodan has been a vital member of Trout CPA since joining the firm in 2013. As a Tax Partner, Dan leads the firm’s Consumer Services industry group with a focus on dealership clients.
