Sadler Health Center ‘For the Health of a Child’ Event to
Raise Funds to Support Children’s Medical and Dental Care

CARLISLE, PA (April 2, 2024) – Sadler Health Center, a federally qualified health center serving Cumberland and Perry counties, invites the community to attend its annual “For the Health of a Child” benefit event on Sunday, April 28, 4:30 to 7:30 pm at The Willows at Ashcombe Mansion in Mechanicsburg.

The event raises funds to support medical and dental services provided to children at Sadler Health Center’s locations in Carlisle, Mechanicsburg and Loysville, as well as in its “Health Center on Wheels” mobile unit which is currently visiting Shippensburg and Newport weekly.

Featuring food, drinks and a silent auction, the evening will also celebrate Sadler’s history of providing healthcare to children and all members of the community for over 100 years.

“Too many children face barriers to healthcare,” said Sadler Health Center Chief Executive Officer Manal El Harrak. “And a lack of access to essential healthcare during a child’s developmental years can have life-long impacts. Sadler’s mission is to provide affordable, accessible healthcare for children, and for everyone in our community, regardless of family income or insurance status. Generous supporters of our ‘For the Health of a Child’ event help make achieving that mission possible.”

Sadler Health Center's pediatric care services offer comprehensive healthcare for children from infancy through adolescence. Pediatric medical services include physical exams for school and sports, well-child visits, sick visits and immunizations. Pediatric dental services include routine cleanings, comprehensive exams, fluoride treatments and fillings.

As a federally qualified health center, Sadler offers patients a sliding-scale discount program. The program offers reduced costs for services based on household size and income.

Sadler Health Center locations include a health center at 5210 East Trindle Road in Mechanicsburg; a health center at 100 North Hanover Street in Carlisle; a dental office at 1104 Montour Road in Loysville; and a mobile health unit that travels throughout Cumberland and Perry counties.
