Job Title: Part-Time Administrative & Outreach Support (Contracted)
Reports to: Director of Programs and Operations
Location: Primarily based out of Enola, PA office, with potential for some hybrid work
Schedule: 10–15 hours/week
Compensation: Contracted hourly; $18 - $20/hr. based on experience
Overview:
The Partnership for Career Development (PCD) is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Administrative & Outreach Support contractor to assist with general office administration, event prep and logistics, and the ongoing coordination of our PCD Career Connect platform. This platform is designed to connect students with high-quality Work-Based Learning (WBL) opportunities, and your support will help grow and maintain these essential career experiences.
This is a flexible, part-time contract position, ideal for someone who is organized, personable, and enjoys both behind-the-scenes support and relationship-building outreach (note: this is not a sales role).
Key Responsibilities:
PCD Career Connect & WBL Outreach Support
- Maintain and update PCD’s Career Connect online platform by:
- Guiding new business and organization partners through the intake form process
- Ensuring WBL listings stay current and relevant
- Helping onboard and support new organizations submitting opportunities
- Routinely checking in with partners to keep opportunities fresh and active
- Proactively identify and reach out to organizations that may be interested in offering job shadows, internships, workplace tours, guest speaking, or other WBL activities
- Represent PCD professionally and help explain the value and process of joining Career Connect
- Track and organize new contacts and intake status in coordination with PCD staff
Event Preparation & Support
- Print, copy, collate, and assemble materials for student events, presentations, and meetings
- Prepare name tags, signage, certificates, and event packets
- Organize, pack, and lay out supplies for on- and off-site events
- Assist with logistics such as refreshments, signage, and setup/tear-down
- Help with post-event cleanup and supply reorganization
- Keep accurate inventory of supplies and restock as needed
Administrative & Office Support
- Take and distribute accurate meeting minutes
- Send and respond to professional email communications
- Maintain both paper and digital filing systems
- Support data entry, mailings, and other clerical tasks
- Respond to basic email and phone inquiries or route as appropriate
- Complete miscellaneous office support duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Friendly, professional phone and email presence
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Comfort with occasional light physical tasks (event setup, supply organization)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Previous experience with administrative support, outreach, or events preferred
Location & Schedule:
- Most work will take place at PCD’s Enola office
- Some remote work may be possible based on workload and events
- Weekly schedule is flexible within the 10–15 hours/week range; event days will require in-person presence
