Event Description:
The Cumberland County Reentry Coalition is sponsoring a Reentry Simulation event on April 6, 2024, from 9 AM - 1 PM in the Social Hall of the HUB at Dickinson College. Individuals coming out of incarceration experience many challenges when transitioning back into society and the first month is especially difficult. The Reentry Simulation allows community members to experience what it is like to return to the community - the many things they need to accomplish, such as find housing and employment and the barriers they face in doing them. Following the simulation, there will be a debrief and opportunity to hear from individuals who have experienced reentry. Lunch will be provided.
